On April 9, 2026, while visiting Mount Magnet (about 600 km from Perth), Liu Nan was involved in a severe car accident. The vehicle rolled over, and he was urgently airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for emergency treatment.
Injuries:
- Multiple fractures to the cervical and thoracic spine
- Left orbital blowout fracture
- Bilateral lung contusions
- Multiple injuries across the body
He now requires long-term immobilisation and extensive rehabilitation.
Unfortunately, his overseas medical insurance does not cover accidental injuries.
Being far from home, the overwhelming medical and rehabilitation costs have placed an enormous financial burden on his family. Despite their efforts to raise funds, there is still a significant shortfall.
Fundraising will primarily support his treatment and recovery.
